Image Upload with Mobile Camera

Upload from mobile camera

Take a picture and upload it immediately afterwards. Uploadify will take care of the rest.

Pre-upload client-side image preview generation

In modern browsers, before the upload even begins Uploadify will generate image previews for dropped or selected files.

Cross-browser compatibility

It doesn’t need Flash to work. It works great in all modern browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome, IE7, IE8, IE9, IE10, IE11 (yeah, I had to specify all the IE versions because one is stranger and uglier than another), Opera, Safari (OS X).

On mobile, too: Android, Safari (iOS6), Safari (iOS7) etc.

Cancellable Uploads

Uploadify allows for the cancellation of in-progress uploads. Cancelling an upload will remove that element from the DOM as well.

Uploadify Error Handling Powered By PHPFox

Limiting files by extension, MIME type and size

PHPFox has to first upload your file to check it. Uploadify will check for the filesize limit and the accepted extensions directly in your client’s browser. This will save a lot of time for your users, because they will not have to wait for a file to be uploaded and get frustrated by the error returned.

Aggregate Progress Bar

This image uploader also provides an aggregate progress bar. This appears above the file list / drop zone, indicating the total progress of all submitted files.

retry uploadify Powered By PHPFox

Auto and manual retry of failed uploads

If an upload fails, Uploadify will give the option to retry the upload. This can be done by clicking on the button “Retry” that will be displayed at a failure, or by choosing Uploadify to do the retry automatically (setting in AdminCP).

Uploadify Filename edit By PHPFox

Rename your files before uploading them

Uploadify provides tools to enable client-side editing of filenames before upload. This will save you and your users from having to rename the file after it is uploaded.

When this feature is properly enabled, you will notice an edit button in the UI next to each submitted file in the UI, assuming the filename is editable at the time. Also, notice the cursor will be set to “pointer” in this case. When an editable file name is clicked/touched, a text input will appear. Here, the filename can be changed.

Add “accept” attribute to file inputs

The accept attribute is incredibly useful. It is a hint to browsers to only show files that are allowed for the current input. While it can typically be overridden by users, it helps narrow down the results for users by default, so they can get exactly what they’re looking for without having to sift through a hundred different file types.Read more about this amazing feature | Try a demo on jsfiddle
